The scholarships listed below were established by the Coweta County Board of Education, the Patrons of the Nixon Centre, the Newnan Coweta Art Association, Greg and Cindy Owens and the family of Anne Quinn Powell. They are maintained by the Patrons of the Centre, Inc. and funded by the Patrons of the Centre, Newnan Coweta Art Association, Greg and Cindy Owens and the family of Anne Quinn Powell. The goal of these scholarships is to honor students for their accomplishments and excellence in the different fields of the arts. Scholarships are awarded each year to Coweta County School System graduating seniors through an application process that includes auditions, portfolio review and interviews performed by a qualified judging panel. Over the last 18 years the Patrons and their partners have awarded thousands of dollars to deserving students that have shown excellence in the performing and visual arts.

3 Newnan Coweta Art Association Scholarships $1,000 each

Harriet Owens Alexander Visual Arts Scholarship $2,500 

The Anne Quinn Powell Scholarship $3,500

In 2022 the Patrons began raising funds to create a Scholarship Endowment, ensuring their ability to provide scholarships to students for years to come.
