About the Patrons

Who We Are

The Patrons of The Nixon Centre began in 2006, organized by a group of supporters who saw a need within our community. Since that time the Patrons have worked to raise funding for extracurricular programs that take place throughout the year. From special performers to art exhibitions, and the funding of scholarships and classroom grants, the Patrons work in partnership with The Nixon Centre to support the needs of the community and expanding access to the arts for all.

What We Do

Since 2006 the Patrons of The Nixon Centre have worked to support access to the arts, both within the walls of The Nixon Centre and within the local community. By funding special shows, art exhibitions, summer art and theatre camps, lectures and more we help support The Nixon Centre directly. In addition to these offerings we have also invested thousands of dollars into the community directly through our scholarship and Grow the Arts grant program that puts money directly into the hands of teachers to purchase supplies, fund classroom excursions and help local students gain direct access to the Fine Arts.

Our Board

Our board and advisory board is made up of local residents who have a passion for the arts and recognize its importance in education and life. Each member volunteers their time to help the Patron organization reach its goals each year and raise the funds needed to support our mission.
